# Antenna detection

Hi, Will the ‘trace’ option (when enabled) indicate that a (ufl) antenna is connected to the Airnote board? (whether or not the board can ‘see’ a satellite? The connection at the board may not be secure - I wanted to avoid time waste if that’s the case.  
The Airnote board was bundled in the Dev kit … can I order just the antenna (uFl) as an accessory? Also, when do see the Airnote boards back in stock?

Hi @richf,

Running a trace won’t tell you anything about the state of the antenna itself, but it will provide you information on the cellular connectivity.

And we expect Airnotes to be back in stock around mid/late January.
