Just purchased the Blues M.2 card that works with Soracom.

My goal is to setup this up on an Ubuntu OS.

Am I missing something or will this not work? I’m not interested in a Blues Notehub. I need network over cell connectivity to support AWS (MQTT) running Greengrass.

Did I get the wrong card?

Hey @willthio,

Blues Notecard connects to Notehub by design, and you must create a Notehub account and project in order for a Notecard to work. Once your data is in Notehub, you can download your data or route it to other platforms.

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend reading through our [Notecard quickstart](https://dev.blues.io/quickstart/notecard-quickstart/notecard-and-notecarrier-f/) as it’ll walk you through the first steps you’ll need to take. From there, [this MQTT routing tutorial](https://dev.blues.io/guides-and-tutorials/routing-data-to-cloud/mqtt/) can help you get your send your data via MQTT.

If you have any other questions let me know.

Thanks,
TJ
