# How do you get device's data usage via API?

Hey guys!

I was wondering if there’s a way to query [notehub.io](http://notehub.io)’s API to get data usage for one of the devices? I don’t want send it from device, I just want to get this number:

using API, so I could display it on my website’s dashboard.

Is this possible?

Hey @ocean,

And welcome to the Blues community! At the moment it’s not possible to get this information through the API, but it’s a really good suggestion. I just logged it as a feature request internally.
