# Inactivity Alerts not Being Sent

I have an alert configured to email our project members whenever a device in the fleet goes offline for over 2 hours. It seems like these events have not been firing though. As far as I can tell, the monitor is enabled and not muted, but I’ve never received an email notification when a device in the fleet’s battery has died.

Is there any additional setup needed to configure alert outside of creating it in the dashboard and making sure it’s enabled?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
