Hi everyone,

I’m opening this thread because I’m running into an issue very similar to the one described here:

> [@Notecard Cellular stuck in boot loop ( NOTE-MBGLN )](https://discuss.blues.com/t/notecard-cellular-stuck-in-boot-loop-note-mbgln/3380):

> I have been testing a NOTE-MBGLN cellular Cat1-bis for a few months continuously without issue. During some maintenance recently it seems that the notecard firmware filesystem may have become corrupted. The notecard is stuck in a boot loop whereby the RED LED blinks a few times and then the notecard resets. It is probable that some power supply interruptions occurred which could have damaged the filesystem integrity… In attempting the de-bricking process the notecard USB device keeps enumera…

In my case, the device is a NOTE-WBGLWT that had been operating normally until yesterday. Suddenly, without any configuration changes or maintenance, it began exhibiting a persistent boot-loop condition. The red LED flashes a few times, the module resets, and the cycle repeats continuously.

Here’s what I’m seeing:

- When connecting the module to my PC via USB (using a Notecarrier XS), the USB device appears and disappears every few seconds. Because of that, the browser-based DFU tool never gets a stable connection. (video here: [Notecard error - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwFa7aZMg28))

- I have not attempted reflashing yet (like the cited post tried), since I only have the Notecarrier XS and I’m not sure whether SWD flashing is required in this specific failure mode.

Given that the unit was functioning normally and suddenly entered this loop, I’m wondering if there is any recommended recovery procedure for a NOTE-WBGLWT in this state?

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @chaves.uma and welcome to the Blues community!

I’m sorry to hear you are running into this issue - we’re going to have someone reach out to you over email as we might have to replace the problematic device and look at your hardware locally to diagnose the issue. Stay tuned!

Rob
