Hi, I am using NOTE-NBGL, Notecarrier AA, and external Globe Sim Card. I am based in the Philippines. I have set the correct APN according to your guide. { “req”: “card.wireless”, “apn”: “internet.globe.com.ph” } I followed the Notecard quickstart guide, however there is no output at Notehub. Is this because my Notecard cellular is Narrow Band? I have checked in the internet and my cellular service provider Globe seems to use wideband. I am not an expert. So, If I use wideband cellular it should work? Regards, Markel ---

@mtrobregado It is likely that your external global sim carrier, may not have narrowband coverage in your location (or country). Wideband has the most availability globally so I would recommend using it for most applications. Out of interest, can I ask why you originally selected the Narrowband Notecard Cellular? @mtrobregado - you should check directly with Globe. According to some coverage maps online, they do offer LTE-M coverage, but it’s hard to say if those are accurate or not! ---

Interesting. And you’re using the same APN settings? It looks like Globe has a couple of possibilities: `internet.globe.com.ph` and `http.globe.com.ph`. On the Notecard can you try running a `trace` and posting the log? Using the in-browser terminal at [dev.blues.com](http://dev.blues.com) you can simply type `trace` and you’ll start seeing a lot of the behind-the-scenes commands being sent to/from the Notecard. If you start the trace, then send the `card.wireless` command and then `hub.sync` to establish a connection with Notehub that could tell us what is going on. When you’re done, hit the little arrow (save history) button to save it as a log file. Thanks, Rob ---

Hi Rob, I remember when I did the Maduino Zero 4G GPS project, that I had to subscribe my sim card to the internet using my phone. So, I did it this time. There are two types of Globe Sim Card, the post paid sim card and pre paid sim card. The post paid is subscription based and you need to pay it monthly. It is already subscribed to the internet. My sim card is pre paid sim card. For me to enable internet communication I need to send a text message to Globe to enable internet subscription. So, I did it this time. Attached is the log.
