I have a Notecard + Starnote on the test bench that does not seem to update the Notecard time. The Notecard and Starnote both run the latest FW (v11.2.2 and v11.2.1 resp.). When I became aware of this, I restarted the Notecard and began monitoring the Notecard time against my PC time which is set from the internet and verified against 2 independent NTP time sources. Over the following 4 days, the Notecard lost ~10 seconds per day despite syncing to Notehub twice per day. Notecard time only refreshes when power is cycled or card.restart is issued. Is there a lingering FW issue with this version? Log attached. Hi again Ray. Thanks for reaching out. I studied this one closely this morning, and I think I have a pretty good idea of what’s happening. We made some tweaks to the way the Notecard keeps track of time in 11.2.1. I’m working with the team to resolve the problem you’re seeing. Stay tuned. P.S. Hi Ray. Sorry for the silence. I reproduced exactly what you’re seeing, and we’ve got a fix for the part of this problem where syncing isn’t correcting the time. We’re still investigating the problem of clock drift between syncs. We are going to put out the next developer firmware release in June, which will have this fix. That’s the most accurate timeline I can provide at the moment. I hope this helps. I’ll keep you posted with any updates. Thanks for your patience. ---

Hey Ray. Sorry again for the long wait time on this one. Our latest developer release, 11.3.1, should fix the issue where the time isn’t getting updated when your Notecard syncs with Notehub. As for the drift between syncs, we have a remedy for that, too. It’s a little more complex; I’ll reach out in the next couple of days to walk you through that. Thanks for your patience! ---

Yay -11.3.1 has landed! 😄 I have some customers eagerly awaiting the return of their gear. Thank you Hayden! As for a few seconds of drift between 12-hr syncs, I’m not worried about that. It was mainly the accumulated drift when time wasn’t being updated on sync - but that is now fixed, so well done!
