API's -> What does 'free from desktop' actually mean?

Hi All,
I’m trying to understand what something means in the plans…
For the API’s what does ‘Free from desktop’ actually mean? Vs ‘From service’?

Hey @ndavey, it means that you’re welcome to use the API for debugging, development and ah hoc use, but regular programmatic access via a running application is metered. I hope that helps!
