Diversity LTE Antenna - what if not used?

can we use just 1 antenna for the LTE wideband modems and leave the DIV antenna disconnected/not used? I notice in the Quectel documentation that they have availalbe an AT command that can be used to disable diversity. Is this necessary if not using the DIV antenna?

Hi @everhamme,

You don’t have to attach another antenna to the DIV port, but it can be a benefit in some scenarios. Actually, even without an antenna attached, the u.FL connector acts as a tiny diversity antenna and has shown to help!
