Notecard completed host ODFU, but Notehub says it didn't

I was upgrading from host version v1.3.2 to v1.3.3. I believe the ODFU was successful, but different parts of Notehub say different things. The host ODFU was successful >24 hours ago, and there have been several sync sessions since then.

  • Device health history and host firmware update detailed timeline indicates a successful and complete ODFU
  • Host firmware summary and the device table host firmware tab deny a successful ODFU

Hi @daterdots,

So it looks like your host DFU did complete. The trick is those Notehub screens are actually reporting two different things:

  1. The DFU status (e.g. health log and the timeline) is Notecard telling Notehub that it wrote the new image to your host and restarted it.
  2. The Current Version on the other screens is whatever version your host firmware last sent the Notecard, using the version argument of dfu.status (or hub.set).

I’d check if the 1.3.3 version reports its version on every boot w/ dfu.status and/or if the 1.3.3 image contains 1.3.3 version info.
