Developer Firmware - time limitations?

I noticed the 90 day warning for developer firmware that’s posted here Notecard Firmware Updates - Blues Developers

what actually happens after 90 days? can you keep using the firmware? or does the device become inoperable and you need to reset and upgrade?

The 90 day window is primarily meant as a support window. Devices will continue to function beyond that timeframe. Again, this only applies to the developer firmware releases. The LTS releases have a much longer window of support (10 years).
