I’m putting my notecard inside a case, and it’s very difficult to know what is going on (sync, modem status), since I don’t have the visibility of the card led. Is there a way to wire an outside led so I and my customers get a visual feedback?

Yes, we have a monitor mode that uses three LEDs and a neo-monitor mode that uses a single RGB neopixel led. You can also override the led colors with your firmware if you need to express states that are specific to your application.

Do you have any instructions on how to hook the leds to the notecard?
The required pin wiring is documented in the links Carl provided. The Notecard’s AUX pins are exposed via your Notecarrier.
