Very excited to try these out.

Question: Does it still apply that the Wi-Fi module built into this Notecard can only talk to 2.4 GHz networks, and combined bands still cause issues? I assume this is still the case but wanted to make sure. :slight_smile:

That’s correct, the new Notecard WiFi v2 only operates on 2.4 GHz. Combined bands shouldn’t cause issues, though this can be router-dependent unfortunately.

When I was using the WiFi v1 before, it would drop off of the combined bands network, but now it is perfectly stable and remains connected after switching to a single-band 2.4GHz access point.

Interesting - what is the model of Wi-Fi router you are using if you don’t mind me asking?

The access points and wireless controller are ubiquiti but they go through a velocloud sdwan device which does our routing and through our cisco asa firewall.
