Is it possible to get GPS altitude?

I have an application where i need GPS altitude. Is there a way to get 3D fix data?

Hi @jderimig - Unfortunately, no, we do not retain the “z” axis data.

This was a policy decision made some time ago simply to save bandwidth in transit.

Any chance that decision could be reviewed ? Seems silly to have a GPS onboard and not be able to get GPS altitude locally via an MCU.

I hear you - I just checked internally and unfortunately the changes required would be far too extensive for this to be even considered.
