Hi,
In the docs there sometimes is a smaller notecarrier used with the starnote + a cable. Which notecarrier is that? I have only found the XS for the starnote. Do I need a notecarrier when using the cable?

Hi @gauteh,
If using this breakout cable, you don’t technically need the Starnote to sit in a separate Notecarrier as all the comms are happening over TX/RX and its getting power etc. You do however need to be aware of the M.2 connector and make sure it is properly isolated from other components of course!

Hi,
Is this correct orientation and order of pins to JST-connector? Should Starnote TX go to RX_P on Notecard?

Hi @gauteh
You can find the pin connections here under the ‘Using 6-Pin JST Connector’ heading.
Yes, I assume you are using a Notecarrier for the Notecard? It’s Starnote_TX to Notecard_RX, etc.
Thanks,
Alex
I’m not using a notecarrier.
The same holds, it’ll still be Starnote TX to Notecard RX (RX_P).
Do you have a part number for the jumper-cable? Preferably one with connector on both sides.
We don’t have an official recommendation, but this one should work:
