Just wondering if I see all the device connectivity options on the Notes, why there seems to be no BLE versions in the offering?

Hi @robouden,
The core purpose of the Notecard is to backhaul data to Notehub over the Internet, and there is no standard BLE-to-Internet packet gateway (like there is for LoRa for instance).

Rob,
Thanks for the reply. I was more thinking of a BLE connection from the Notecard to a Phone. For monitoring the data not to internet but for the user to see direct what is being sent even if the device can not send to the internet.

Or provisioning credentials like WiFi for example, or local device control from the phone that doesn’t need roundtrip to Internet.
Drew,
Yes. Good idea. Basically, you can do that already if you have a separate MPU like a ESSP32 running. But much elegant and saving on hardware would be built in BLE on the Notecard itself.
