Hub mode during Notehub to Notecard download

Hi,
The directions describing “Host firmware update requests” – step (5) indicates “When target Notecards sync with Notehub, they will identify the new host firmware and download it progressively in the background.” After some fiddling, I found that my Notecard needed to be in “Continuous” mode or else the download would stall (at 0%). [The Notecard mode was “periodic”.] Does this behavior sound as expected?

Hi @richf,

Thanks for pointing this out. It shouldn’t be the case that you need the device to be in continuous mode (although it will certainly help speed things along). Do you happen to recall how long you left the device in periodic mode (and how often it was syncing with Notehub) after you initiated the DFU?
