I have a notecard that last sent a message
‘Sun 07:26:25 AM: warning: voltage is low (3.43V)’
I subsequently plugged in the usb and its not detected; I switched to a spare wifi notecard and it connects to usb ( validates cable and port ). The card itself appears to be flashing 2 times per seconds. Ive left the card in this state for an hour.
The card is NBGLN v2.1 on a notecarrier A
Checked the hub and its been offline since that low power message
I have the unit outside, clear skyview for over an hour now. Still flashing.
It feels like somehow the card is “bricked” – are there any recovery methods?
Thoughts?
Hey @gomario2,
Sorry you ran into problems here. And it is odd that the same cable would work for a WiFi Notecard but not your NBGLN.
We do have instructions on recovering a Notecard with the Notecarrier A here: Recovering a Bricked Notecard - Blues Developers. I’d give that a shot and let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
TJ
Thanks Tj – I’ll go thru that link and report back.
Well, I just visited the unit and inadvertently left the case open and was water damaged. Darn! I really wanted to track this down, had that unit been deployed I would have been on an airplane.
Overall, what concerned me was that fact that it died. I have 3 other cards still chugging away.
