On a WiFi notecard. When I do {“req”:“card.wireless”}, I see “status”: “{modem-off}”,
Is there something I should do to turn the modem on?

You don’t need to do anything special. To save power, the notecard will automatically turn on its modem, sync, and turn it back off based on a schedule controlled by the sync mode.
