Notecard WiFi always has modem-off status even in continuous mode

For some reason, even though my Notecard WiFi is in continuous mode with sync:true, the status returned by a card.wireless request is {modem-off}. How can I fix this so that the Notecard has a continuous connection to Notehub?

If it matters,

  • Notecard WiFi 1.2
  • Firmware version 8.1.1.16998
  • The WiFi itself seems very good since it’s saying 5 bars
  • I do see on Notehub an event in _session.qo that has the body {"why":"closed: notecard ended the session"}

I notice this only started happening after I downloaded the firmware version using Notehub and the Notecard’s DFU status is “Completed” instead of “Idle”. I’m thinking this might be the cause, and it was posted on the forum by someone else here.
