Hello,
Does the AUX_EN pin have to be pulled high in order for the aux UART interface to be used with an external GPS module (eg. STM TESEO LIV3R)? It’s not mentioned in the docs for using AUX serial for external GPS:
Please advise, thanks!

Hi @reiderm,
It’s actually the opposite: the AUX_EN
is changed to an OUTPUT
when using an external GPS module, and that OUTPUT
goes HIGH
when the GPS is to be switched ON
, and LOW
when it should be switched OFF
. Please don’t try to power an external GPS module directly using AUX_EN
, though (use it on EN
of an external regulator).
Thanks,
Rob
