In browser terminal trace diagnostics won't stop

Hi, for some reason, the ‘in-browser’ terminal won’t stop its diagnostic output (see below). I tried issuing {“req”:“card.trace”,“mode”:“off”} with no luck. Hardware platform is the “Startnote for Iridium”. I also temporarily removed the Iridium module from the notecarrier – same result. Does the notecard need to be reset?

regards, Rich ..

Hi @richf,

{"req":"card.trace","mode":"off"} only turns off a temporary trace session. It doesn’t touch other saved trace options, and one of those options, usb, sends trace to USB no matter what. Is there any chance you ran trace all in the In-Browser Terminal? That turns on every option, usb included, and that one is saved across restarts.

In any case, these two commands set it back to the default behavior:

trace none,+comm,+mem,+sync,+gps
trace off

Hope that helps!
Rob
