I’m using LoRa Notecards with the Wisgate/RAK gateway that came as part of the LoRa Starter Kit. I’d really like to be able to understand more about how my setup is operating in marginal conditions, where perhaps Notecard antenna orientation or gateway location might be having an effect. To that end, it would be ideal if I could determine the RSSI and SNR for individual events, so that I can test the effect of small modifications to the setup. I accessed the dashboard of the gateway, and that does give me RSSI and SNR, but only as aggregate charts, which doesn’t help me understand individual events. I was also hoping that the JSON data for the event, as available in Notehub, might contain the RSSI and SNR (this was suggested by an online search), but alas that does not seem to be the case. I’d be very grateful for any suggestions as to how I can gather this per-event performance data.
