The last two wifi notecards I recieved constanly brownout and reset when connected to the same battery setup as an older wifi card.
If I connect a USB power supply they will/may remain stable for a short time.
One became a smoke generator 
Was there a change to the card recently ?
Im using them on XS carriers and Starnote.

Its simply connected to a LiPo. I tried several( including the one that shipped with it up to a 18650 with plenty of current). I’ll note the older V1.2 Wifi Card is perfoming well, but the newer V2.1 cards are not.
Even when connected to USB, its unreliable.

Do you have another Notecarrier XS to test on? It would be nice to know if the issue lies with this particular XS or with the Notecards themselves.

Rob, I ordered a few new XS carriers and a Cell notecards.
Seems its not limited to the Wifi card. Running a WB Notecard with a Starnote it still browning often.

I updated everything to latest firmware 11.1.1.17494.
The units that are giving me grief are older frimware I beleive . Will confirm shortly

It would be great to compare failing devices on a different Notecarrier XS, as that is the critical component when it comes to providing power to the Notecard. Let us know what you find out!

XS are all V1.3
Firmware is all 11.1.1.17494

Are you saying that all of your Notecard WiFi devices (the v2.1 ones) are showing the same “brown-out” behavior with more than one Notecarrier XS?
