Manual MQTT routing failing

Hello all,

I have had a route setup from Notehub to a MQTT msoquitto broker that I host on a server for about 2 months now with no issues. I am currently working on a program that requires me to manually route messages to use as instant test data. I have had no issues with this the past 2 months.

Starting this week, whenever I go to manually route a message (click the message and then “route event”), nothing happens. The icon next to the message that usually shows green or red is just spinning endlessly:

and I mean ENDLESSLY. I manually sent those routes shown in the picture 24 hours ago and they still show as pending.

Anyone know what the solution is?

What is even more confusing to me is that when the events upload to Notehub the route works fine, green marks and everything. It is only when I manually click route that it hangs.

Hi @mickellaharris - This is an issue we recently identified and have a fix under review now!

It looks to me that the events are still being re-routed, it’s just that the UI isn’t being automatically updated. If you refresh the page, you should see the rerouted event logged and the “Routing in progress…” message should disappear.

Would you confirm this?

If it doesn’t disappear, that suggests an error in the MQTT route. Though it should eventually time out.

If that’s different from what you are seeing, please post the AppUID (i.e., the part of the URL beginning with app:), the name of the Route and the event’s UID. If possible, give the support team access to your application.
