Merge notefile request outstanding

Hi,

I am getting an merge notefile request outstanding NN seconds message. Eventually the sync stops with no response from the service:

INFO  notecard is filling up (77%): sync status: SyncStatus { status: Some("merge notefile request outstanding for 44 secs"), time: None, sync: Some(true), completed: None, requested: Some(111) }

is this something on my end?
