I’m getting the following message in Notehub Device Health and I could use help deciphering this and figuring out the cause:
Thu 05:07:53 AM: boot (software watchdog [16292] [3.0] [I:4=T] G:Gpp M:Mps U:W~ R:Rp:W~ S:W~ T:W~ I:W~)
Wed 11:23:21 PM: boot (software watchdog [16292] [3.0] [I:3=T] G:Gp M:Mpb U:W~ R:Rp:W~ S:Sp:ISD T:W~ I:W~)
Wed 10:49:53 PM: boot (software watchdog [16292] [3.0] [M:1] [I:4=T] G:Gpp M:Mpw U:W~ R:Rp:W~ S:Spc:POWem6 T:W~ I:W~)
Wed 06:47:14 PM: boot (software watchdog [16292] [4.0] [I:4=T] G)
BTW this issue started in 2022 (Decoding Device Health boot messages) and I can’t find anything on the website.

Hi @Karl_iWell,
These messages are used by our internal teams to help us debug potential issues and aren’t meant to be deciphered by end users (i.e. they can change from version to version). Are you having a specific issue that you’d like us to help resolve?
Thanks,
Rob
Rob,
We se see that message from time to time when our devices don’t report in on schedule and we are 1)trying to determine the cause, and 2)trying to find out if there is anything we can do in our host firmware to prevent this from happening.
Overview of our application: Monitor tank levels, transmit tank level reading hourly. Device is solar powered, uses a host processor (ESP32S3) to control data capture. Notecard is in minimal mode, hourly notecard wakes up processor, takes readings, adds note, sync’s notecard to transmit, goes back to sleep. Data is routed from Notehub to our website.
Customers are checking the data, sees readings are missing, calls and says, “Where are my tank level readings?”
Any insights would be helpful and appreciated. I enabled Support access to our data and will direct message you with device ID.
Karl
